What an historic team, popularised the game around the world more than any other club. The old Corinthian F.C. strip inspired Real Madrid to adopt it because of their renowned commitment to sportsmanship as well as some Brazilians to form the south american giants Corinthians.
They believed that a gentleman would never commit a deliberate foul so if they were awarded a penalty the captain would step up and ensure it easily cleared the crossbar. If they had one awarded against them their goalkeeper would come out of the goal and stand aside so the player could roll the ball in, honour restored.
No wonder they never made it to the Premier League!

My boy dannys played 379 times for cc now,gk off the year in the ryman league 3 years in a row,its never easy when other gks at other clubs are picking up good doe,and he gets nothing.my other boys manager, puts his heart and soul into keeping them up with no budget at all,i sometimes think what we could achive with a budget.

There is a picture of the North Bank of a FA Cup match we played against Corinthians doing the rounds, from the early 1900s.
